Our Mission is simple:
 
  To provide our customers with the absolute best in terms of quality and freshness!  We use no preservatives or artificial ingredients, and all our offerings are made on premises from scratch.  We even make our own stock for our homemade soups!
 
Our dedication to quality was rewarded when we won the Chowder Contest in 2006, beating out 12 other contestants!
 
We have also been featured in the Cuisine section of the World newspaper in Coos Bay, Oregon 


Company History
 
2010 markes the start of our fifth year in Winchester Bay.  Four years ago, our humble beginnings were as an ice cream shop!  Pretty soon, deli-style sandwiches were added, and to make our sandwiches really stand out, we decided to bake our own bread.  This was a fairly easy transition, as our founder, Nancy, has been making her home sourdough from her own starter for 15 years, after being inspired by a chance visit to La Brea Bakery outside Los Angeles.
 
It only took a few extra "feedings" to generate enough starter for a bakery, and all our bread is made from this original starter, carefully cultivated years ago from a mash of red grapes, flour and water!
 
In these uncertain economic times, it's really rewarding to have our sales increase each year.  We feel that this is a testament to people going out of their way to visit us!
